Terms of use
Effective October 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Viridian Reveries, LLC (“we” or “us”) about your use of the Homerunner: Listing Videos app for iPhone (“HomeRunner” or “the app”) and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Apple’s license agreement
If you get HomeRunner from the App Store, your license to use it is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls for apps obtained from the App Store. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support; we are.
Your license to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use HomeRunner on Apple devices you own or control, for your own work, under these terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the app except where the law allows it, or use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights. We own the app, its design and the HomeRunner name and logo.
Free plan and HomeRunner Pro
- Free. You can record and preview edits as often as you like and export 3 videos each calendar month. Free exports include a small “Made with HomeRunner” tag at the end.
- HomeRunner Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, currently $19.99 a month or $179.99 a year in the United States (prices in other countries are shown in the App Store). It includes unlimited exports with no tag.
- Free trial. New subscribers may get a 14-day free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you’re charged.
- Billing and renewal. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or when the trial ends), and again at the start of each period. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we can’t issue them ourselves. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Changes to plans. We may change prices or what each plan includes. A price increase for an existing subscription takes effect only as Apple allows, with notice from Apple.
Your content is yours
You own the recordings, photos, words and videos you make with HomeRunner. They stay on your iPhone, and we don’t receive them, so we don’t claim any rights to them. The music, title styles and other materials the app adds to your edits are licensed to you to use in the videos you make with it, including posting them on social media and sharing them with clients.
What you’re responsible for
HomeRunner is a tool; what you film and post is up to you. You’re responsible for:
- having permission to film the property, from the owner or seller as required, and from anyone who appears or can be heard in your recordings;
- following the laws that apply where you record, including laws about recording people and conversations;
- making sure what you post is accurate and follows the rules that apply to you, including fair housing laws, your MLS, your brokerage, your license and advertising rules, and the terms of the sites you post to;
- reviewing every video, caption and title before you share it, including anything suggested by the app or by AI;
- keeping your own copies of anything you want to keep. Your content lives on your iPhone, so if you delete it or the app, or lose the phone, we can’t restore it.
Don’t use HomeRunner to make anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Beta versions
Versions we offer through Apple’s TestFlight are pre-release software. They may have bugs, change without notice, stop working when a build expires, or lose data, so save anything important to your Photos. Beta access is free and may end at any time. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve HomeRunner without owing you anything for them. TestFlight is also subject to Apple’s terms.
Changes and availability
We work to keep HomeRunner useful and reliable, and we may add, change or remove features over time. We may also stop offering the app. If we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can, and subscriptions will be handled through Apple.
Disclaimer
HomeRunner is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the app will be error-free, that every recording will be captured or every edit made, or that the videos will meet your needs or bring any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Viridian Reveries, LLC won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business or goodwill, arising from your use of HomeRunner. Our total liability for any claim about the app or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for HomeRunner in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you made or shared with HomeRunner, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Ending these terms
You can stop using HomeRunner anytime by deleting the app (and cancelling any subscription in Settings). We may end your license if you seriously break these terms. The sections on your responsibilities, the disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law continue after these terms end.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we’ll also let you know in the app. If you keep using HomeRunner after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
